The VMS08-450-LB-01-M voice coil positioning stage uses H2W voice coil motor NCM08-35-450-2LB to generate a continuous/peak force of 45 lbs [200 N]/135 lbs [600 N] with a total stroke length of 0.75 in [19.1 mm]. The 1.0-micron resolution encoder allows for precise positioning. It comes supplied with a rigid recirculating ball bushing linear bearing. The motor shaft is the assembly's moving part, ensuring no moving (flexing) cables in the system.
