Dual Voice Coil Positioning Stage, VCS12-2000-LB-01-MC
The VCS12-2000-LB-01-C voice coil positioning stage uses dual H2W voice coil motors NCC12-60-1000-2X to generate a combined continuous/peak force of 200 lbs [908 N]/600 lbs [2670 N] with a total stroke length of 1.2 in [30.5 mm]. It utilizes dual motors in order to double the force capability without having to integrate a single larger size motor. This helps reduce the overall size of the system. The 1.0-micron resolution encoder allows for precise positioning. It comes supplied with a rigid recirculating ball linear bearing. The motor coil is the moving part of the assembly in order to reduce the moving mass of the system. The voice coil motors have been mounted centered and parallel with the bearing assembly in order to reduce the overall height and length of the system.
