Voice Coil Positioning Stage, VCS06-500-CR-01-V
The VCS06-500-CR-01-MC voice coil positioning stage uses H2W voice coil motor NCC06-60-500-1X to generate a continuous/peak force of 50.0 lbs [227 N]/150 lbs [681 N] with a total stroke length of 0.64 in [16.3 mm]. The 1.0 (absolute) micron resolution encoder allows for precise positioning. It comes supplied with a high accuracy crossed roller bearing. The motor coil is the moving part of the assembly in order to reduce the moving mass of the system. This voice coil positioning stage has been manufactured using low-outgassing materials as selected by NASA in order to make it vacuum compatible.
