The XRS-005-006/001-003-001-ZX is a low profile ZX crossed roller positioning stage that uses brushless linear motors to generate a continuous/peak force of 6.2 lbs [27.8 N]/18.7 lbs [83.3 N] (vertical z-axis), 3.1 lbs [13.8 N]/9.4 lbs [41.8 N] (horizontal x-axis), with a total stroke length of 5.5 in [140 mm] (vertical z-axis), 1.18 in [30 mm] (horizontal x-axi). The horizontal x-axis is able to directly mount to the moving vertical z-axis table. This helps reduce the overall height and moving mass of the system. The motor coils are the moving part of the assembly in order to reduce the moving mass of the system. The non-contact 0.1-micron resolution encoders allow for very precise positioning. It is guided by high accuracy crossed roller bearings. It comes supplied with a home positioning sensor, end-of-travel-sensors, and end-of-travel bumper stops. Custom mounting holes on the moving table are available upon request.
