The VCS10-046/023-CR-001-CXY is a high accuracy, voice coil driven, closed loop XY positioning stage. It is ideal for high accuracy positioning applications. It uses H2W voice coil motor NCC10-15-023-1X. Each voice coil has a 1.00" [25.4 mm] stroke; generate 2.3 lbs [10.2 N] of continuous force and 6.9 lbs [30.7 N] of peak force, or a combined 4.6 lbs [20.4 N] continuous force and 13.8 lbs [61.4 N] of peak force on the bottom axis. The bottom axis utilizes dual motors in order to double the force capability without having to integrate a single larger size motor. This helps reduce the overall size of the system. The 0.1-micron resolution encoders allow for very precise positioning. It comes supplied with high accuracy crossed roller bearings. The bottom axis has a wider crossed roller bearing to allow for a more rigid bearing assembly. The motor coil is the moving part of the assembly in order to reduce the moving mass of the system. Power is supplied to the motor via a high flex, high reliability flat ribbon cable.
